A DOSE OF COMFORT FOR OUR HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES

Liza Jolicoeur, Respiratory Therapist at the Lachine Hospital

On Friday, March 20th employees at the hospital got a nice surprise in the form of a free lunch, courtesy of the Saint-Hubert restaurant in Lachine.

Vincent Martin who owns the restaurant, personally delivered 240 chicken dinners, in 2 separate runs. “With everything that’s going on right now with the pandemic, I felt it was time to shake elbows with these guardian angels, send them a little bit of comfort, and let them know that we’re thinking about them,” he said.

Staff at the Lachine Hospital Foundation helped to coordinate the distribution of the meals which needless to say, was very well received by the employees, who had been working tirelessly in preparation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A huge thank you goes out to Vincent Martin and his staff at St-Hubert for this thoughtful and generous gesture.
